The Freedom of Information Act 1982 is Commonwealth legislation that allows the general public to seek access to information held by any Commonwealth agency or authority.
The Australian National University is a Commonwealth authority and subject to the Act.
If you are lodging a request it is most likely that the current increase in requests will require that ÌÇÐÄÊÓÆµlogo seek extensions from applicants (as per FOI Act s 15AA ) or, where appropriate, seek an extension of time from the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
